About Pinning Down Autism

Pinning Down Autism began in December 2006 with members of the wrestling community who are personally affected by Autism.

Today, 1 in 150 individuals is diagnosed with Autism, a condition that was almost unheard of just a few years ago, and the incidence is ever increasing.
Here are the facts about autism.

Our mission is to bring the collective strength of the wrestling community together in this battle that must be fought and won immediately.

Funds raised by our efforts thus far have been contributed to: Autism Speaks, a group that is committed to changing the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders, Neighborheart, who provides "Quality of Life" grants to families who struggle with autism, and Surfers Healing, who provides the adventure of surfing to children with autism.

Also please visit Autism Votes and enter your name to join in the fight to get legislation passed that is needed.

You may have noticed the puzzle piece theme used on our website. Click here to read more about why puzzle pieces are the international symbol for Autism.
