Competition will begin at 9:30 A.M. and run through the afternoon. Weather permitting, the event will be held outdoors with a Barbecue alongside, run by the "famous Cipriano Grill"!

The art is still being practiced today, via the Olympics and on the collegiate circuit. With a strong focus on grappling techniques. The sport has also seen a rise in female participants which is not suprising due to it long history. Among African tribes, girls often wrestled as part of their initiation into womanhood. The elders would gamble land with other tribes on the outcome.

This years event will feature raffles, auctions, music, entertainment, vendor tables, activities, activities for all ages and more!
Competition will run on 3 mats, with a 4th "challenge mat" set out for the day. "Feature matches" by popular demand will be held as called out by the fans. Come ready to wrestle.....you may be challenged!! Also planned is a NYC vs Long Island open freestyle dual in response to the cancellation of this years Empire State Games.
The competition will be outstanding and better still is the unmatched charcacter of our sport and its competitors that will be on display for the entire community.
